An online safe haven.

Hi hi! I'm back with another beauty related post! I figured since the month of September is ending ((sooooo fast! School is starting in weeks!!)), and this month, I got a few beauty goodies which I loved, so why not do a September Beauty Favourites post?
Let's start! :)
So firstly, my mom got me this brow powder when she was in Bangkok! I am not sure if you guys are familiar with this brand called IN2IT (( probably not cause its not available in Singapore)). It's only available in certain countries like Thailand and Malaysia. You guys can go and google :)

Anyway I have been using quite a few IN2IT products for a few years now ((whenever I go to Bangkok, I would literally buy loads of their stuff)) so when my mom bought their brow powder back for me, I was ecstatic to try it out. Also, I was thinking of buying a brow powder to try instead of always using a pencil one, so thank God!

So they have three shades of brown colors to choose from. I used a mixture of the middle and right shade. Oh and I used the left shade for contouring! See, this eyebrow palette is soooo useful! :D

The next product is also from IN2IT! This is their gel tint which I think is a new product because I have never seen these in the market before. I bought these from JB Watson's cause ya know, JB stuff is damn cheap compared to here. Plus, I love wearing tints cause they are super long lasting.
The only lip tints I wore was from Etude House, and since Korea is known for their lip tints too, I expected good coverage and results. So when I saw that IN2IT had lip tints that are gel-ish, I decided to try it! I forgot how much it cost, but it was damn cheap! ((if its not, I wouldn't buy it lol))
So the shades I bought is "melon" and "strawberry" ((yum yums))

As you can see, the colors are not that pigmented since its a tint, but its really long lasting! I don't have to keep applying it after a few hours.

Here's me wearing the melon shade using the "gradient" effect! I added only one coat, so the red isn't that.. redish..?

And here's me wearing a mixture of melon and strawberry shades, non gradient effect. ((oh and as you can see, my brows are filled in using IN2IT's brow powder.. I JUST LOVEEEEEE IT OMG.
brows always on fleek. sigh))
Moving on to the last product..

I am sure everyone knows what this is.
Yep, Maybelline Gel liner!
My aunt bought this for me in the US, so yup, originally from Americaaaaa~
I have always wanted to try gel liner, cause I've seen lots of beauty gurus using it, and there are lots of praises for gel liners too, so I decided to try Maybelline's one.

Used quite a bit already! Hehe. But ya know, gel liner dries super fast, so I was initially worried. But then I found a hack for this! To prevent your gel liner from drying up fast, just add a 1 or 2 drops of saline ((or contact lens solutions)) onto it, and it would be good as new!
I also add a few drops onto the brush since it could dry up as well.

One thing I love about gel liner is that they are super long lasting! And super easy to apply.
I have one more which is in the color brown.
Oh yes, in my above selfies, I am also wearing this gel liner! The first selfie was taken in the day and the second in the night. So as you can see, the gel liner still looks good as new!
Okie, I'm done with my September Beauty Favorites!
See yall in my next post!
Off to roll around in bed cause the haze is making me sleepy.
God Bless <3

As a student myself, studying is part and parcel of life. We definitely cannot avoid studying, if we wanna pass, studying is a must! ((heyy it rhymes!))
I won't call myself a "perfect A" student because I never was. In primary school, I did average for my PSLE. For those who don't know what PSLE is, it basically stands for Primary School Leaving Examinations, where every student at the age of 12 years old ((primary 6)) have to take this exam to determine what grades they would achieve in order to apply for a secondary school.
In primary school, I wasn't the super smart student, my grades were average. ((sigh)). However, by God's grace, I was able to get into the express stream in secondary school. Throughout the four years, ((due to always playing around and not paying attention in class sigh)) I was failing majority of my subjects.
It was so bad that after SA1 during Sec 4, I had passed only 1 subject ((out of 7 btw)). My parents were called to the teacher's office.
It was then where I kinda "woke up" and was like "I better buck up!" because it was like a few more months to O levels, and nobody could afford to fail!
Praise God though, I managed to exceed expectations and did well for the national exam. Now, I am currently a student at a polytechnic! ((annnd another hurdle to cross.. getting a good GPA!!!))
So here are some studying tips I wish to share for those who are a student like me. I don't know if these would work out for you but feel free to try them! :)
A) Always put away devices that would distract you.
Let's admit it, in today's world, no one could live without their smartphones or laptops ((guilty)), which is why in order to ensure you are concentrated only on your books, we have to put away these stuff. For me, I made sure my phone is off and far away from me. As a poly student, I had to have my laptop on because I need it for school work, so you could see that the temptation to drift away from the books and going on the internet is strong. Which brings me to the next point.
B) Practice self control
It's all about the mentality I guess. When I was in secondary school, I always had to use my phone ((I didn't had my laptop then, only a computer which has a password that I didn't know)), which kinda made me fail very badly in school. However, I learned to control myself now that I am in poly. When I had my laptop on because usually practice paper's answers would be online, I made sure that I use it only for checking answers and then when I am done, I off it, and go back to my notes. I think that as long as we all practice a self control, it would be easier to study and maintain a distraction free "studying day" ((lol))
C) MINDMAPS ARE DA BOMBS!
When I was studying for O levels, I didn't construct mindmaps. I thought it was like a waste of time and thought it wouldn't help me. So instead, I wrote notes. But really, looking back I feel so stupid. Because I was actually just "copying and pasting" info from my textbook into a blank piece of paper. And it was actually hard to digest, sure it made me remember some points, but it was all over the place in my brain, so it didn't really work. ((though I still manage to pass lol hallelujah!)) So this time, as I was studying for my poly exams, I started doing mindmaps.
Using lots of colorful pens and pieces of papers, I did mindmaps for some of my modules that required intense remembering of content. IT DID HELPED MY BRAIN THANK THE LORD. It was so easy for me to remember which points belong to which "category", and it's convenient too. Like I could just whip it out and just stare at it, even before I entered the exam hall. Instead of flipping through written notes that were copied and pasted lmao.
But it's just my preference and it works for my brain, allows me to remember better. But if it doesn't work for you, maybe you could share how you remember things! Just feel free to comment below! :D
D) Always start studying way before the exam
This was one thing I never did in secondary school ((regret regret)). I was always studying like few days before! ((yeah, which resulted in super bad results)). So this time, I started constructing my mindmaps a month before the exams. I know some people started like 3 months before ((wah that one really damn on.)), but I am a chillax kind of person? LMAO. ((yes yes, my horrible secondary school results.))  Anyway, I think studying way before the exam could actually give your brain time to remember stuff, and make it a habit to actually go through what you studied over and over again so that your brain would not forget!
E) Remember to take a break
We are not robots! We can't do something for hours after hours. So, always remember to rest your brain and take a break! Okay, confession time. Sometimes my break would be longer than the amount of time I studied. But hey, at least I managed to get work done right?  What I usually do when taking a break from studying, is to just lay on my bed and rest my eyes. If not, I would probably be in the kitchen finding food.
F) Pray.
I don't know what your religion is, but for me, growing up in a Christian household, I have learned to pray whenever I do things or when I just feel like talking to God. I have make it a habit to always pray before I start studying and before I take a paper.
Okie dokes! So these are what helps me to study more effectively. It might not work for you, so feel free to share your studying tips! :)
Oh and uhh, for the record, if you don't get an "A" after doing all these, don't blame me, cause I am not sharing tips for you to get an "A", these are tips that would help you study more effectively and more productive..?
Anyway, I am racking my brains on what to write for leBeauty stuff cause I hope to write more beauty related stuff here.
So, see ya in my next post!
((gonna go roll around))
God Bless <3

Re typing this out because something went wrong with my internet and I had to reload the page but I didn't save the post. GAHHH. ((all gifs used not mine, credits to their respective owners))
Okay, so I finally decided to start on my Color In liquid Lips Review!
A few months back, I took part in an Etude House Facebook contest where winners are able to win 5 pieces of Etude's newest lip product, the Color in Liquid Lips.
So when I found out I was one of the winners, I was like
I mean I can't believe it, I actually won! Being a major Etude House lover, I was excited duh! I've used their products for about two years now, and majority of my makeup are from Etude House!
So I went to their flagship store at Wisma Atria with le best friend, Claris who accompanied me, to collect the 5 pieces, to which 3 of it are the color of my choice, 1 is for my mom and the last piece is for le best friend.

I got to take a picture on the princess carriage at the flagship store! Which is the biggest Etude store in the world btw.
Oh and le best friend did a review on the color she chose on her Youtube channel, so you guys can go check it out here.
Anyway, I was so happy because 1 piece actually cost $17.90 SIN, and I won like 5 pieces! In reality, I do not have the money to buy all 5 like helloooo! So, I was so damn excited lol.
So this is how the packaging looks like. As you can see, I chose 3 different shades of pink ((cause you can ever go wrong with pinks)) and the orange belongs to my mom.

This is how the product looks like! Isn't it so cute?! Like omg. I thought it was actual lipstick at first from the outer appearance.

Etude House always never disappoint me with their product outer appearance, like it is always so sweet, cute and pretty!
Sigh.
I was surprise when I saw how the applicators(?) looked like, I mean can yall see it? Its like a shape of a lip!

LIKE OMG SO CUTE!
So these are the colors that I chose!

Now the color in liquid lips is basically like a combination of both lipstick and lip gloss.
I think this is totally a smart invention. Because you know on some days, we might be like "Oh, I feel like wearing lipstick today but I feel like having gloss on too" and its a hassle to carry both lipstick and lip gloss wherever you go right? So I think this color in liquid lips is definitely a smart invention.
Now applying the product wise, it is very easy to apply. What I do when I wear it is that I would apply it on first and then use my finger to spread it all around my lips, followed by blotting!

Here is a selfie of me wearing PK001! I chose this shade of pink cause I think it gives off a sweet sweet vibe, since its a lighter pink after all.

I am wearing another pink shade which is PK006! This was quite a popular shade and if I am not wrong, f(x) Krystal actually wore it while advertising the product for Etude!
I was skeptical at first when I saw this shade, cause it was like a little dark and I wasn't sure if I would look nice with it or not, but I just decided to try it out and it was soooooooo nice!
Like it wasn't that that dark as I expected, and it still gives a sense of sweet sweet vibe too. LOL.

And here's me wearing my favorite shade! PK005! At first I thought it was like a nude color, but it was actually a super super light pink, closer to their nude shade! It's like super sweeeeet! Even more sweet than 001! And this lip color can match with any eye makeup!

Not sure if you can see the color clearly so here's another selfie with le best friend.
Product appearance wise, super princessy ((as always)) and cute! I like! Heh.
Application wise, easy to apply, though for the 005 shade I had to apply like 2 to 3 times till it is fully applied. But other than that it's quite easy.
Oh and one thing I love love love about Etude's products is that they all smell damn nice.
So yes, smell wise, 10 stars lol, cause it smells nice!
They lots of other shades too like reds and purple!
Overall, praise God that I was able to win these products because they are awesome ((and pretty and cute and pink!)) nuff said.
Yay! I am done with my review after like 100000 years!
#klandjourney part 4 will be up next!
God bless <3

Today was my last day of exam, so booyah! Its party time!
okay, just kidding. I hate parties like this.
What I am most probably gonna do now that exams are over is.. sleep.
Just gonna hibernate the entire holidays.
... I wish.
Unfortunately I thought that once school's out, we get to compensate for the sleep that we loss because of school and studying.
Well, how wrong am I.
Cause when school's out and exams over, its time for work.
Yup, you heard me.
Ugh, time to go online or search newspaper ads for part time jobs to last me a month and a half.
I remembered after O levels, I had to find my first part time job. Afterall, there's no way my mom would be letting me waste myself and my time around at home doing nothing for about 5 months. My first part time job was with my pals doing some event thingy at Expo. We had to attend briefings and then travel all the way to expo for the job. Well it wasn't bad at all I suppose. Though after the whole event, I became so tired and it was like dark by the time I reached home. But it was on that day when I received my first pay check!
It wasn't that much, but it was kind of like a stepping stone. Soon after I begin looking for more jobs, I tried finding jobs so that I could work together with my friends, but I knew it was impossible to work together.
I begin working as a promoter for baby clothes at Taka, I went on to work from Jan to mid april? It was definitely tiring since I needed to stand for like 8 hrs and if there is no customer around, its really really boring.
When it was time for me to start school, I finished my last week at work and boy was I proud of myself lol. I mean, able to work for like a few months and managed to earn quite a bit of money. Hehe.
But I guess its difficult for me to find jobs since most jobs need to like work on the weekends, and since I have already committed the weekends for church, I can't work on weekends.
But oh well, I just hope I would be able to find a job and quickly earn money for next year #SIN2SEOUL.
Yup, I am heading back to Seoul next year again!
#hallelujah!
Anyway, it's kinda fast how the first sem has already ended. Like wow.
And like the year is coming to the end already, so fast!
Oh well, I can't wait for my results to quickly be out lol.
Oh and I should start working on my Color liquid lips review.
